I miss the days when I was young
I miss the days when I was young and children played outside. When sounds of laughter rang in the air and we didnt go into the house untill well after dark. I miss the smell of sheets having been hung on the line to dry.I miss the freinds next door borrowing sugar (because jumping in the car to go get sugar alone was just foolish!) I miss the mailman walking up and handing us the mail and the milkman bringing eggs and milk and orange juice to our front door step. i MISS CATCHING FROGS ON THE SCREEN DOOR AFTER A RAIN(LITTLE GREEN ONES)
I miss the one show we were aloud to watch a night, and it for us was the Carol Burrnet or earlier the Dean Martian show.I miss (what I thought I never would) the cowboys and Indians shows. I miss the no cussing no nude and no sexual content of the tv,
My Mom and Dad never had to worry about sexual preditors or drug dealers, they told us to be careful of traffic! If we got into trouble at school we were in bigger trouble at home! I miss the parents not talking about other people in front of the children! This way we learned respect. We did everything as a family and we all went to the store togeather to buy groceries(even my teenage sister) We answered our parents because we didnt have an Ipod or cell phone or game device attached to us. We played I spy. We felt like we fit in because we had chores and we had a purpose. When my parents called us we said yes maam or sir and we came right away!
I remember the mornings at school A PRAYER THE PLEDGE TO THE FLAG AND SEVERAL SONGS HONORING OUR COUNTRY. I KNEW EVERY PATRIOTIC SONG THERE WAS WORD FOR WORD. WHEN WE HEARD THE NATIONAL ATHEM WE BY SHEER HONOR AND RESPECT STOPPED AND PLACED OUR HAND OVER OUR HEART(I STILL DO TILL THIS DAY AND ALWAYS WILL!
I REMEMBER GOING TO THE DRIVE IN MOVIE AND WE STOOD BESIDE OUR CAR DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. I REMEMBER NOTHING WAS OPEN ON SUNDAY. I REMEMBER A FAR MORE GENTLE PEOPLE HERE IN OUR COUNTRY AND A FAR MORE RESPECTFUL TIME. WE HAD OUR PROBLEMS AND OUR TROUBLES BUT THEY WERENT AS BAD OR AS PERVERTED AND AS COLD AS NOW.
WHERE WILL IT ALL STOP? WHAT AMOUNT OF NUDITY WILL WE ACCEPT AND WHAT AMOUNT OF DISRESPECT WILL WE TOLERATE. FREEDOMS LOST AND INNOCENT CHILDREN TAKEN EITHER BY SEXUAL PERVERT OR TELEVISION?
I MISS THE DAYS WHEN LIFE WASNT SO DANGEROUS AS IT IS NOW IN EVERYWAY. I MISS HEARING MY PARENTS SPEAK THE SAME THING I AM SPEAKING NOW AND THINKING HOW OLD FASHION AND OUT OF IT THEY WERE (BUT I DARE NOT SHOW IT BECAUSE I WOULD GET A SPANKING) (RESPECT) I MISS THE DAYS WHEN CHRISTMAS WAS AN HONOR AND RESPECT OF A NEW BORN KING. AND ALL OF THE NATION WAS RESPECTFULL TO IT. AND IF YOU WERENT YOU DARE NOT SAY IT. BECAUSE THIS NATION WOULD LET YOU KNOW WITHOUT RESERVE THAT YOU WERE IN A COUNTRY THAT HONORS GOD AND THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST. I MISS THE BACKBONE MEN AND WOMEN ALIKE HAD BACK THEN, SOME 45 SHORT YEARS AGO,AND THEN CAME THE 60S AND 70S!!!!

circuitmaker, 2 weeks ago | FlagDont forget John Wayne. Today Washington
would find a way to tax or outlaw their movies. They stood for TRUTH, The American Way and belief in God Family Law and order the cowboy way and country support. BY TODAYS STANDARDS THEY WOULD ALL BE OUTLAWS AND TROUBLEMAK
