See what the recent rains have done to help out Lake Lanier. On January 1st of this year it was about 18 feet below full pool. The sad part is that they have still been releasing the water through the dam and down the Chattahoochee River at the same rate as normal even though the Chattahoochee River has received an enormous amount of water from all the rain and natural water run off. If I can figure it out, how come the government and DNR can not?
