    Recently, there was a fight that took place at Washington County High School in Sandersville Ga. During this fight, 3 African American females jumped on 1 Caucasion female. The 3 african american females are freshman and the caucasion female is a sophomore at WCHS. Apparently, prior events that the caucasion female had been alledgedly tormenting/making fun of the freshman lead to this incident.

    During this fight, the freshman alledgely stomped and kicked the sophomore female until the fight was broken up. The sophomore was transported to the hospital for a routine evaluation to make sure she was okay. The sophomore was thought to have been born with floating lesions on her brain and was then transported the Augusta Medical Center for further evalutation where she was put into the Intensive Care Unit. The floating lesion that she believed to be there turned out to be some type of tumor. Which has been there since she was born. Well, now these 3 freshman are being blamed for her condition. They are currently being held without bond at the Sandersville RYDC.

    Now, the families of these 3 girls DO NOT deny that what these females did was wrong and they do belive that they should be punished but what they are offering these children is cruel, unusual, and unfair. Prison is not the answer for these kids. The Grandmother of the victim with the help of other acquaintances have turned this thing into a racial fiasco and calling what happened a "hate crime." Not takin the prior events into consideration at all.

    Fair punishment should be given but the question we all have is this, "Would this have gotten so big if everyone involved had been of the same race?" This is not a black/white issue. This is a matter of kids trying to prove that they are bigger and badder than the next person. Just so happens, the younger crew took it to another level than the older.

    The family of the victim is also taking full advantage of this incident. Using this as an act to get money. They place an article in the local newspaper stating that there is no income coming into their household and are asking for donations of money and any sort. What families uses a child as a charity case. its obvious what is going on here and something really needs to be done about it. There has been racial text messages sent to members of the accused families and even though they want so badly to apologize to the victim and her family, they are afraid to due to these text messages being sent around. Some of them even are referring to the children as "animals."

    So all im asking is for the community to pull together and not let this thing become racial....Justice needs to be served but people lets be realistic

    I grew up in a very close family. We live in a dairy farm so there is always a lot of work to do. We are all in the house and farm to help our assigned tasks. He 2 Thus, if a friend of mine told us that we want to play, he can still practice in other areas. My father was a very hard working people are returned to the community, he can really. He did not golf, bowl or play any other sports, but he started in the county is still very active today, horseshoe league.
    In the horseshoe game is very simple. The impact of two metal posts into the ground with a precise distance. Opponents stand back a peg, and try to throw the other horses around the hanging shoes. When we play at home, we will use the work, and my father on the farm keep the real horse shoe.

    In 2010, the town of New Bern will celebrate it’s Birthday. The Town, founded in 1710, will be 300 years old. It is second only to Bath, as the oldest town in North Carolina.
    
    Steeped in history, it is one of the most interesting places to visit, of anyplace I know. One of the founders, John Lawson, a naturalist, wrote a book about the early plant, and animal life in North Carolina.  He had planned to also write about the native tribes here as well. That turned out to be his undoing, as the Tuscarora Indians, had him tortured; meanwhile sparing  Christoph  von Graffenried from Bern Switzerland, as they thought this wealthy gentleman might be the governor.

    
    

    I first paid a visit to New Bern in the early 1980s, stopping here to  visit Tryon Palace, the colonial home and capital of North Carolina. Gov Tryon, built this fine home on the backs of the people of North Carolina. Stamp Act Taxes, on everything the early farmers produced, collected the money to build the fine home for Tryon.
    
    It was this very action that caused the settlers of  North Carolina to revolt, and forcing Gov Tryon’s hand at the Battle of Alamance County, by the Regulators, as they became to be known. Tryon quickly put down that rebellion, and hanged the ringleaders; however those seeds sown the bitterness that later would blossom into the Revolutionary War. 
    
    History alone, is not the reason why I recommend that you visit the town,(though that is reason enough, in my opinion)… I recommend you visit New Bern, and I am sure that you will fall in love with the town as I have.
    
    I recently returned to New Bern, in early September, and what I found was a progressive town, full of transplants, that has somehow managed to keep from being another in-your-face tourist town. There is much to do, and the townsfolk really go out of their way to not only show you a good time, but they genuinely are glad that you came to visit.
    
    So in 2010, (or now if you would like) go to New Bern, and tell them that Gary sent you. You will come away with the same feeling as I have about New Bern.

    CHARLOTTE COUNTY: A national tragedy hit too close to the Johnson family of Port Charlotte. The family learned 21 year-old Justin Johnson is one of dozens shot in the Fort Hood shooting on Thursday.

    "He got shot in the diaphragm, it hurt his lungs and he's in intensive care," Justin's grandmother Estelle Simon said.

    Shock has set in for his mother Roxanne, who was on the phone with her soldier son when the shooter went on the rampage.

    "She heard this high-pitched screaming and she said, Justin, Justin and he didn't answer," said Simon.

    For the family details of exactly what happened to Justin are still unclear. They know he was rushed into surgery, and we're told he will be OK.

    "I'm so happy he's not in the morgue this morning," Simon said.

    The local hero and former high school football star was honored Friday night by all who know him.

    "Oh I couldn't believe it, its a small world. You don't ever expect to hear someone you know could be involved in something like that," said former teammate Eddie Dertinelli.

    The Charlotte High players on the field Friday night even wore decals on their helmets in honor of the former defensive tackle.

    "I'm really proud of him, he's doing great and to hear something like this happen really brings you down," said another former teammate James DeGaeta. "My thoughts and prayers are with Justin's family. I know his mom, his brother - everyone."

    But as the national tragedy hits home in Charlotte County, Justin's younger brother Jordan says he is a hero to everyone and that he is not worried.

    "He's been my hero ever since I was little so I'm proud of him and I know he's going to get right back up and try it again. That's what he does,"

    The Obama administration has been working for weeks to correct mistakes in early counts that identified more than 30,000 jobs paid for with stimulus money.

    WASHINGTON -- The White House is promising that new figures being released Friday will be a more accurate showing of progress in President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan. It aggressively defended an earlier, faulty count that overstated by thousands the jobs created or saved so far.

    Ed DeSeve, serving as Obama's stimulus overseer, said the administration has been working for weeks to correct mistakes in early counts that identified more than 30,000 jobs paid for with stimulus money. He said a new stimulus report Friday should correct many mistakes an Associated Press review found that showed the earlier report overstated thousands of stimulus jobs.

    "I think you'll see a pretty good degree of accuracy," DeSeve said in an interview.
    White House spokesman Robert Gibbs downplayed errors in job counts identified by the AP's review, telling reporters, "We're talking about 4,000, or a 5,000 error."

    The AP reviewed a sample of federal contracts, not all 9,000 reported to date, and discovered errors in one in six jobs credited to the $787 billion stimulus program -- or nearly 5,000 of the 30,000 jobs claimed so far.

    Even in its limited review, the AP found job counts that were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of paid positions; jobs credited to the stimulus program that were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs that were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced.

    For example: 

    -- Some recipients of stimulus money used the cash to give existing employees pay raises, but each reported saving dozens of jobs with the money, including one Georgia day care that claimed 129 jobs saved.

    -- A Texas contractor whose business kept 22 employees to handle stimulus contracts saw its job count inflated to 88 because the same workers were counted four times.

    -- The water department in Palm Beach County, Fla., hired 57 meter readers, customer service representatives and other positions to handle two water projects. But their total job count was incorrectly doubled to 114.

    Those errors were included in an early progress report on the stimulus released two weeks ago that featured numerous mistakes, including a Colorado business' claim that its stimulus contract created more than 4,200 jobs. In fact, the actual count was less than 1,000.

    Some businesses actually undercounted jobs funded with stimulus money, the AP's review shows, because they reported only new jobs created, not existing jobs saved. But by far the most reporting errors were found in the number of jobs credited to the stimulus.

    Gibbs said that early data couldn't be reviewed as carefully as new data will be. "Three days after the data was received, it was required to be put on the Web site," he said, referring to the government's recovery.gov site that serves as the official accounting of stimulus data.

    The Colorado business' job count, along with many others, has been corrected, Gibbs said, and will be updated in Friday's report.

    "We disputed, as the AP disputed, the report that came in that calculated a number of jobs but didn't accurately account, the way we account for, a full-time, yearlong employee as being a job," Gibbs said.

    His comments during his daily meeting with reporters came hours after the White House issued a midnight press release complaining about the AP's review of jobs the government credits to stimulus spending.

    DeSeve, who criticized the AP's review as misleading, said the administration is aware of problems with the early data. Agencies have been working with businesses that received the money to correct mistakes. Other errors discovered by the public also will be corrected, he said.

    "As a result, whatever problems the early and partial data had, the full data to be posted on Friday will provide the American people with an accurate, detailed look at the early success of the Recovery Act," DeSeve said in a statement the White House issued just after midnight Thursday.

• Voter Fraud Probe Heats Up

    The voter fraud investigation of allegedly forged absentee ballots in Troy, New York is gaining national attention.

    Bob Mirch, the Republican Majority Leader of the Rensselaer County legislature appeared on the Fox News Channel at 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, October 25th and said he met with the New York State police regarding the investigation. The State Troopers are not talking, referring any public statements to the special prosecutor, Trey Smith, who is mum on the unfolding investigation in which "Democratic and Working Families Party" operatives have been accused of trying to throw the general election next week by allegedly forging ballots from the September 15th primary.

    Troy Democratic Chairman Frank LaPosta also appeared on Fox News, claiming any wrongdoing was conducted by what he called "rouge Democrats."

    Democratic candidates often try to secure the endorsement of the Working Families Party line in order to secure the extra votes the WFP can bring on election day. The party has recently become a more politically potent presence in New York State, eclipsing the Liberal party in its role as a companion to many Democratic candidates. The W.F.P does not come without controversy, it's co-Founder is Bertha Lewis, the C.E.O. of the embattled activist group ACORN, and President Obama's political director, Patrick Gaspard, "worked with ACORN in New York to set up the Working Families political party and sat on the party's board with Ms. Lewis," according to "The New York Times."

    The Rensselaer Democratic County Chairman, Tom Wade, told Fox News that he wants an investigation of the Republicans, including the handling of absentee ballots for the whole county, not just the recent primary.

    The Chairman of the W.F.P. would not comment on the scandal, but it has become a hot political issue. This follows recent absentee ballot fraud allegations in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Inglewood, California.

    Jan Tyler, a former Denver Elections official who runs the website "Election Neutrality Now," notes absentee ballot fraud is a "simple strategy employed by mostly Democratic activists and their community organizing allies." She notes: "That easily accessible strategy uses bloated voter lists, where names of voters who have moved can be easily located. Applications are then requested by activists, who in some states may even have ballots mailed to a separate address, making the fraud more convenient. Since signature verification procedures are often lax or poorly administered, one activist can sign for hundreds, even thousands of ballots."

    The Troy case doesn't even seem that complicated. Troy voters told Fox News that they never signed absentee ballot forms that were submitted in their names. Some told us men knocked on their doors asking them to sign applications, and they never even knew those were allegedly used to fill out ballots that were then submitted as real votes. 38 of the ballots have been thrown out by a New York State Supreme Court Judge, who ruled that there were "significant election law violations that have compromised the rights of numerous voters and the integrity of the election process."

This was my dream job i waited all my life to become a investigater. But i wanted to be a officer then work my way up. the no tatoos was not on the application. either it was a racial thing against black women because i have stars on my left side of my neck and my zodiac sign on my right side of my neck that can be easily covered up. It hurted me so bad when they told me to leave without other options. I felt like somenoe stabb me millions of time and i couln't breath. i was willing to wear long sleeves in the summer. I wanted it so bad i was so excited when they announce it on news about the job fair. i requested a day off of work so i can go take the test. iknow it ways around that. they missing a smart, honest hard working person and fulton county need all the educated people they can get. because some of the officer they have now dont have a education and think with their gun and badge and not with their brain they also think they are above the law.........i will not stop til i get a job in my field.

    Two black youths wrongfully accused in Gwinnett County Georgia .
    My son along with another young man has been charged of a crime that they did not commit and they have never been in trouble before and they have 90 years between the two of them.
    Gwinnett County Georgia is known for railroading our youth into confessing to crimes that they did not commit. They did not produce any evidence or weapon, did not take pictures of the crime scene, did not dust for prints and they interrogated my son for 3 hours at the precinct and even before they took him to the precinct. they did a show -up allowing the victim to see my son before showing him a photo line up. I know that my son is innocent of the crime because I know of his where abouts that day and I'm not saying this because he's my son , I am stating what is true and factual. It's time that we put the injustice towards our youth and our young black men to rest. There are too many of our children who have been falsely accused in the prisons. Can somebody help me to help my son and the other young man. Mothers fighting for their son's innocence and freedom.

    deferent from what we agree, with out us knowing this my mom signed the papers and come to find out she had agreed to pay and evict the lot. his influence is so that after evaluating the case i now see how the judge of the court was in his favor.(very hard to belive)but not with out evidenc that i have. so now we have 12 day to try to move our trailer out of the lot or he will repo our home. we are not the first that he has done this to, his Robbery is well know by others but that were helpless to do any thing but im determend to fight back with the needed help of our father people,

    i know this is unjustise, we are so close to paying our home of that all we owe is tax money thats about 1000.00 doller and now that we are so close to owning our home he is doing this to keep our home .

    I am a business man who sometimes has to travel. When the flood started I was in New Jersey. During the second day I encouraged my wife to try to get to work. This was a task because we live in southern Paulding County and work in south Fulton. After dropping our child off at daycare my wife made her way to work along back roads, not knowing her night would turn into a living hell. After work my wife faithfully began the trek home only to find that she could go no further than 2 miles from her work. Not knowing what to do she turned to one of Atlanta's finest for help. When she approched the officer, he quickly got an attitude and told her he couldn't tell her where to go or how to get home. After 2 hours of driving on the same roads hoping for an opening, my wife began to panic because no one was there to pick up our 10 month old child. But she knew she would get there no matter what because of the pain a mother has when forced away from her child. It wasn't until the owner of the daycare called and began harrassing my wife that she started to cry. What a shame that people in hard and uncontrolable times, can't understand compassion. I understand the ladies wanted to go home and she was over a hour and half late. It was the continuous calls of "where are you?" that bring you to the break of a broken heart. Finally a female officer from Douglas County Sherrifs office had compassion on her and found a way to reunit a bond that should not be stretched. Though it all, we paid a dollar per minute for us being late but a missing feeling of humanity.
