    There are many problems in a human’s life. Out of all those problems anger is the worst. If one gets angry everything will be spoiled. That’s why Swamiji Selvam Siddhar always used to tell “Shanti”. As a Swamiji and scholar of Atharva Veda he always love and peace. He has helped and he is helping lot of people to come out of anger. According to Atharva Veda and Atharva Vedic Astrology the planets are the only reason for anger and anger related problems. Before going deep into the subject let us see what anger is and what all the side effects of anger are. Anger is a normal and basic human emotion.  Anger problems are likely causing difficulty in family, social and/or occupational settings. Depending on how it is managed and expressed, anger can have positive or negative consequences. Awareness of angry feelings can be helpful as it can signal when one’s rights are being violated or one’s needs are being ignored by others. Anger can also help to energize and motivate us to work to address problems with another person or to change the life situation.

     

    However, there are potential negative consequences of anger when it is not managed or expressed appropriately or effectively. Some people are chronically angry at others, or at themselves. Often, angry people were criticized or abused themselves earlier in life, and react to others in the same manner they were treated. Prolonged or intense anger and frustration contributes to physical conditions such as headaches, digestive problems, high blood pressure and heart disease. Problems dealing with angry feelings may be linked to psychological disorders such as anxiety or depression. Angry outbursts can be a way of trying to cope with unhappiness, or depressed feelings. Chronic anger creates problems getting along with others, and can lead to involvement in physically or emotionally abusive relationships. Having “a short fuse” is often a factor in other problematic behaviors such as “road rage,” accidents, and getting into verbal or physical fights.

     

    While some people openly rage, others have difficulty acknowledging their anger and hold their feelings inside as they avoid the issue that angers them. They may express anger in a “passive-aggressive” way that can take the form of baiting others, or frustrating them. People who express anger in a passive-aggressive manner may fear hurting others or being “a bad person” if they openly express negative feelings. However, they usually end up damaging the relationship because other people usually sense their anger on some level and begin to build resentment toward them. People who are unable to acknowledge anger in them often feel hurt by others’ hostility, abusive behavior, or withdrawal from them.

     

    Anger is frequently a result of frustration, or of feeling blocked or thwarted from something we feel to be important. Anger can also be a defensive response to underlying fear or feelings of vulnerability or powerlessness. Many people with anger problems are out of touch with signs that anger is building. Our body gives us important clues to when we are angry, sometimes before we are consciously aware of it. When anger builds, we react as we do to stress. We may feel tension or stress in our body as adrenaline is released, our breathing may quicken, or our heart may start to beat faster.

     

    The following are some possible signs of difficulty coping with anger:

    One feels (or fears) being out of control when he/she is angry.

    One often feels tense, irritable or frustrated.

    One finds himself/herself frequently gossiping or complaining about others rather than speaking to them directly about what is bothering him/her.

    One frequently feels hurt or resentful that others treat him/her unfairly.

    One hurts others, especially those they care about, by demeaning or putting them down, cursing at them, or being verbally abusive. He/she ends up regretting something he/she said or did when angry.

    One takes out the anger on someone or something else rather than the person or situation that is bothering him/her.

    One has physically lashed out when angry (e.g. destroyed property, hit someone, etc.).

    One has lost or is in danger of losing a relationship, job, or something else important because of his/her anger.

    One has been arrested or has legal difficulties because of his/her anger.

    One uses alcohol or drugs to try and calm his/her emotions.

    Others (e.g. friends, family, professors, academic administrators, and bosses) have expressed concern about his/her anger.

     

    All these things happen only because of the planets’ position in one’s horoscope. Sometimes the black magic on one will also make the person to get angry even for small and meager things and happenings. In that condition the horoscope of the effected person is to be scrutinized by Swamiji Selvam Siddhar as per the standards of Atharva Veda.     Sri Atharva Soolini Durga at Hindu Temple of Georgia

    Sri Soolini Durga is the wife of Sri.Sarabeswara. She is another form of Goddess Parasakthi. There are three shapes for each and every deity. They are Santham, Ugram and Maha ugram. It means calm, fearsome and the most fearsome. SriMeenakshi, Sri Kamakshi are the examples for calm poses of Goddess Parasakthi. Sri.Durga is the example for Ugram and Sri Soolini Durga and Prathyangira Devi are the examples for the most fearsome poses. When we need the motherly affection we have to pray the Santha shapes. To get rid of moderate troubles we have to pray ugra shapes as Sri.Durga. To solve the sever problems we face in our day to day life we have to pray the Maha ugram poses. Atharva Veda is the only Veda, which deals with the healing part. It explains in detail about the different methods of prayers and rituals to get rid of our problems. Sri.Soolini Durga plays a vital role in solving the problems faced by each and every body. Sri.Soolini Durga Hrudayam, a part of Atharva Veda and an old palm script compiled by a great monk, “Prapancha sara sara Sangraham” tells in detail about Sri.Soolini Durga. According to those wonderful writings, we will see about Sri.Soolini Durga.

    Lord Mahavishnu took the most fearsome pose Narasimha and came out of the pillar, caught the demon took him to the entrance and killed him. Narasimma’s anger was very severe. Nobody could control his anger. So. All prayed Lord Shiva to control the anger of Narasimma. Lord Shiva also took a fearsome pose called Sarabeswara. He had two feathers. He controlled the anger of Narasimma and made him cool. Lord Sarabeswara had two wings. One wing is Sri PrathyangiraDevi and another wing is Sri.Soolini Durga. Prathyangira Devi and Soolini Durga are the most fearsome poses of Goddess Parasakthi.Prathyangira Devi is called as Atharvana Badrakali and Sri.Soolini Durga is called, as Atharvan Rudrakali.She is the mother of all.

    What do we get from Sri.Soolini Durga? She is the rescuer from enemies. She secures all the wealth and assets. She helps us to come across all enemies. She cures the mind and physic. She blesses us with good children. She gives a lot of knowledge and wisdom. Whenever we call her she comes instantly to support us. It is very hard to go near her. If we go near her it is sure that we will come out of all our troubles. The ways and methods of rituals to get rid of various problems. To have good kids, those who need the kids should eat the rice offered to her everyday for a period of at least 48 days. It is very sure that they will get good kids. To get rid of the mind related troubles “Panakam” (sweet water prepared with sugar candy and dried ginger) is to be offered to her and the offered sweet water is to be drunk by the person having mental troubles. To get rid of the enemies we have to light the lamp with mustard oil. To get rid of the evil spirits we have to offer her butter. She likes the offerings much and blesses her devotees with their ambitions fulfilled.

    The method of Prayers.
    Daily the minimum Abishegam(holy bathe) to be performed with water and milk. By having this holy bathe, she becomes cool and blesses the devotees with cool lifestyle. When one is affected by fearsome diseases like small pox and chicken pox we have to bathe the deity with water and tender coconut water. The patient should intake a small quantity of water and tender coconut water poured on the image. Within a span of twelve days, the patient will be cured. She cures the different kinds of fever. Fever means not only the hike of temperature in the physical body. It refers to the heat in the mind and poverty. She easily removes these kinds of things. We have another trouble. It is called a Dhrushti or bad eyes or najar. This is the worst one. By praying Sri Soolini Durga on Tuesdays and Fridays with the offering of lemon, we can easily come across the thing. We face a lot of problems caused by the nine planets. The invisible planets crate a lot of things in this visible world. She cures the ailments caused by the nine planets. She is called as “Aavesa Graha samharyai Namaha”.She cures all kind of physical and mind related problems. She is called as “Vyaadhi Naasini”. The word “Vyadhi” means problems caused by the unseen forces. By praying her she removes all kinds of problems. She is called as the best blessing deity. Today we are facing legal litigation and we spend a lot of money to pay the attorneys. Sri Soolini Durga is the best attorney to settle all the problems. She is said as “Vivadha Samani”. To get rid of the legal problems, one should light nine lamps with mustard oil and red color wick for nine Tuesdays. By doing that, she becomes very happy and settles all the problems in a very smooth way. Another problem we face is “defame”. She is known as “Apavaatha Haraa”.To get rid of this problem on has to light eleven lamps with mustard oil and red color wick along with the offering of citrus fruits like orange and lemon. By this offering, she becomes very happy and solves the problem. Another problem is black magic and evil spirits’ problem. To solve this problem one should perform “Sri Atharva Soolini Maha mantra Japa and Homa” consecutively for 6 Sundays during the time of Raaghu Kaalam roughly between 4.30 pm to 6.00pm. The offering through fire should be dry red chilies dipped in honey. The food to be offered is unsalted urad dhal vada, honey and fruits. By this, the Goddess becomes happy and solves the problem in wonderful way. This wonderful Devatha also solves many other problems not listed here.

    The Most Important and Easiest way to get the blessings of Sri.Soolini Durga.
    Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are the important days to pray Sri Soolini Durga. All can come to the Temple and light lamps with wick and mustard oil, which is the best minimum prayer for Sri Soolini Durga. That too particularly Raaghu kalam on these three days approximately 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm, 10.30am to 12.00noon and 04.30 to 06.00pm are the best timings to light the lamp with mustard oil lamp. The Hindu Temple of Georgia is the only Hindu Temple in the entire USA to have Sri Soolini Durga as one of the presiding deities.

                        The great penance will give you peace and contentment will come with ease. Your great ailment is your own desire and your religion bears kindness attire “Why should I follow any religion at all? “Where am I led by it” These questions are tormenting your thoughts for a long time But the answer is very simple. Follow the path of humanism. It is religion.

     

                        You may be practicing it for a long time. You have been adopting humanism as your way of life. Why should you identify with a religion then? It has actually been thrust on you by your parents and fore fathers. It has the significance of your history heritage and culture.

     

                        You may find after close observation of the historical evidences all around him that there had to be a “Great Being from whom all things in the world came into existence. You owe your homage to Him. This thought has been the origin of God and religion.

     

                       Religion a great scholar points out is a unique institution. All other institutions can be traced back to the animal needs of man and to his physical characteristics. All social organizations based on physical acts of sex, infancy and life in groups. It is how ever, difficult to ascertain the basis of religion in animal life. Thus, religion has become a part of man’s culture. It is a body of attitudes ideas and techniques where by man explains and adjusts to the unknown, the mysterious and the mighty. By means of various elements of religion, man tries to achieve a harmonious relationships with his power. In fact, this thought provoked the great mughal emperor Akbar to establish a new religion during his reign. He attributed it’s name as “Din-Ilahi” It was actually a blend of all religions in the world during the 15^th century. His tenets included a total harmony between man and man. It preached a humanism in character and behaviour It completely avoided rituals of any sort and concentration of dogmas. It expected man to live like an institution and to adjust himself to his environment.

     

                    But man’s belief of superstitious and mysterious powers, over shadowed the principle of oneness in man. “Dinilahi” had it’s silent death proving the words of chesterfield. “Religion is by no means a proper subject of conversation in a mixed company”. It actually had it’s origin in the court of the great, Mughal Emperor. It has it’s strength only in the discussion between the king and his courtiers the courtiers took part in the discussion only to please the King. But their lack of belief in the king’s direetive proved to be a disasterous offair in the growth of a religion, which can be considered very practical in this modern world. Another big thing in the fall of Dinilahi was due to the dead contrast between Hinduism and Islam’s aspects. When Hinduism accepts too many gods with too many names Islam accepts only “Allah” as the supreme power. In the soil Bharath, Hindusthan and presently India, Hinduism has been dominant ever since pre – historic times. Hindustan has no historical founder like Jesus Christ, Mohammed the prophet, the Buddha, Mahavira, Guru Nanak and Zoroaster. It is the belief that the Aryan invaders from Persia brought the Vedic scriptures and gave Hinduism it’s first trace.

     

                  Like the Bible, the holy scriptures of Vedas and the Upanishads, a latter derivation speak of the beginning there was no thing there was death, there was the soul, there was Brahman. Brahman is the divine power, the holy power of energy. From Brahman all works, all desires all sweet powers and tastes proceed. The Upanishads emphasis that in the beginning there was the atman or the soul alone. Then Brahman enters the soul and thus man appears in the Universe. Hence the soul is Brahman knowledge of this takes man beyond gods. In the Upanishads a wise man tells his son put some salt in water taste it in the next day. Taste it from the surface, from the middle and from the bottom. It is salt every – where, yet invisible. So it is with the one reality, which exists in the body, though you do not perceive it. That is reality that is the soul and you are that”.

     

                 In the later days, to make man involve in spiritual activities various rituals and idols were created by the seers who propogated the religious codes. Each one tried to have their own followers in the strict austerity. Because of the flexibility in the religions rites, other religions came into existence according to the convenience of man and his belief man started going against religion gradually, His belief in idol worship, superstitions and withchraft gave rise differences among his own class. He has forgotten that religion is a virtue. We act on faith, hope and love of God.

     

                Thus, man created a barrier in his relationship between man and man. His religious beliefs for his personal gains and dominance scattered the valuable peace and harmony all over the world. Today man has forgotten the virtue of kindness. He has no faith in love. He fails to attempt right living. Thus, religion has resulted in sufferings and chaos all over the world. Giving his disciple grape juice, the Divine apostle of Christianity Jesus Christ said “This is my blood I drink it. It will go on being shed for getting mercy for the sinners untill human beings are redeemed “That was the time of his last supper. He used to say” you have only right to love. Love your neighbour as your self shun selfishness”. The Holy Bible and the New Testament stand on this belief firmly.

     

                Hazrat Mohammed the prophet of Islam, showed new light to the world. He himself suffered but believed the humanity of the ills that it suffered from. He showed the way of mercy forgiveness and tolerance. Islam is a religion of peace. It is submission to the will of God. If emphasizes the existence of only one God. There is no idol worship. The Holy Book Quran says “Let there be no compulsion in religion A true Musalman Must be tolerant. Islam teaches that every religion is true. It is rather strange that the founder of Buddhism never tried to establish a new religion. Yet millions of people accepted to follow it. He tried only to suggest measures by which one could be rid of sufferings in the world. Buddhism accepted certain values of Hindu religion.  The secret of the success of Buddhism as a world religion is that it advocated non – violence and place.

     

                Vardhman Mahavira the founder of the Jainism, spread the message of non – violence, renunciation, kindness and good conduct. Like the Buddha, he believed that desire is the root cause for all sufferings. Both believed in non – violence. Mahavira followed a different style from Buddha in advocating his principles. He laid emphasis on rigorous penance and fasting.

     

                 The parsis the descendents of the Persians who fled the conquering armies of Islam in the 7^th century have been the followers of Zoraster He set out to proclaim faith in one God and denounced idolatry and evil living. His teachings have been laid down in the holy book “Zendavesta”. The parsis consider three elements in the world sacred i.e: earth water and fire.

     

                 Sikhism is one of the latest world religions. It has its origin in the Punjab in the 15^th century. Guru Nanak the founder of the Sikh religion has mingled the practices of the Hindu and the Muslim. That is worshipping the All – mighty five times a day. Their Holy Book is AdiGranth, which is in the form of songs and hymns.

     

                 Sikhism has many links with Hinduism in the practice of birth marriage, funerals. To sum up all religions have only one goal. Follow the principles of peace, kindness, love and Mercy. These can be the ideal force to lead man for his well being only in such a society humanism can exist.

    SIDDHIS

     

    Siddhis are psychic powers such as knowledge of future events, understanding the language of birds or animals, spirit medium ship, clairvoyance, astral travel, telekinesis, reading of tarot, making oneself invisible or tiny as an atom (anima), and its opposite (mahima) and many more! Acquired powers are to some extent due to a cultivation of generally available techniques and to some extent to development of an aptitude for spontaneous power that was inherent but not powerful enough to manifest without training. It is enough to say that they are not approved of by true masters. In order to seek them, a man's mind must be directed towards them, not towards spiritual liberation. Those who have attained all these eight super powers are called as Siddhar. During ancient days many Siddhars lived in this universe. But in today’s modern world there are only a few in India. That too in western countries, there is only one Siddhar. He is Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar (Dr. Commander Selvam).

     

    For many years Sri Lalitha Devi has revealed that, she is the Supreme Goddess in the Sahasrara, and that Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar is her incarnation on Earth. The siddhis that enable my three children to visit him in the Sahasrara were initiated by him. None of my children desired anything. How can mere children mediate on Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar and are met by him in their Sahasraras? How did a three-year-old kid or five-year-old kid acquire such powers? Whatever they told me about the Shakti in the Sahasrara is the basis of Siddhar. Without these siddhis there is absolutely no way to provide evidence that Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar (Dr. Commander Selvam) is the incarnation of the Great Goddess.

     

    So how do siddhis advance the Devi? I quote the following from Devi Bhagavata

     

    "In the first enclosure of Srichakra, we encounter a kind of protective wall, three layers thick. At the first layer of the wall, we paid obeisance to the ten Siddhis, or occult powers, that can tempt us in the early stages of our sadhana. The temptation is to use these powers for our own gain, for personal victory or revenge upon another. When we do so, however, the siddhis become snares, entangling us ever more deeply in our own self regard.

     

    But when we realize that the Siddhis come to us only to the extent that we become Devi, which we realize they are actually her powers manifesting through us, and that we are Her too -- Her local ears, eyes and arms -- then the Siddhis cease to become snares, and instead beome helpful friends and guides, directing us more deeply into Srichakra."

     

    So www.sriselvamsiddhar.org  proves that we are the Devi and her powers are manifesting through us. Even though Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar (Dr. Commander Selvam) was not so fluent in Hindi twenty years back he used to chant the following lines continuously. Who heard him when he sang this song repeatedly?

     

    O ek suki yaha lakoh mein.

    Oh, only one in a hundred thousand is in bliss.

     

    Ansoo hai croroh ankhoh mein.

    There are tears in tens of millions of eyes.

    Ganesha is also one of the five Gods, the worship of whom was popularized by Adi Shankaracharya; the other four are Vishnu, Shiva, Devi and Surya. The worship of these five deities is called the pancayatana Pooja. The large head of an elephant symbolizes wisdom, understanding, and a discriminating intellect that one must possess to attain perfection in life. The wide mouth represents the natural human desire to enjoy life in the world. The large ears signify that a perfect person is the one who possesses a great capacity to listen to others and assimilate ideas. The trunk relates to the power of human mind which must be strong enough to face the ups and downs of the external world and yet delicate enough to explore the subtle realms of the inner world.     Mata Atharva Durga Pooja

    This Pooja is the most beneficial for the protection from direct enemies, hidden enemies and to find the best life partner.

    Atharva Durga, in Sanskrit means "She who is incomprehensible or difficult to reach." Goddess Matha Durga is a form of Shakti worshiped for her gracious as well as terrifying aspect. Mother of the Universe, she represents the infinite power of the universe and is a symbol of a female dynamism. The manifestation of Goddess Durga is said to emerge from her formless essence and the two are inseparable.

     

    Matha Durga is also called by many other names, such as Parvati, Ambika, and Kali. In the form of Parvati, She is known as the divine spouse of Lord Shiva and is the mother of her two sons, Ganesha and Karthikeya. As the destroyer of demons, Matha Durga is worshiped during an annual festival called Durga Pooja, especially popular among Bengalis.

     

    There are endless aspects of Durga described in the Puranas and Agamas and the iconography is consequently very varied. Matha Durga is usually pictured as having ten arms holding Sword, Conch, Discus, Rosary, Bell, Wine cup, Shield, Bow, Arrow, and Spear. Matha Durga is most often shown riding a lion from which comes her dignified name, Simhavahini, "She who stands astride the king of beasts". She is gorgeously dressed in royal red cloth and has several ornaments decorating her personage. Her hair is dressed up in a crown which then flows out in long luxuriant tresses that are darkly luminous and soothing to the eye. The various tools reflect the eminent supremacy that helps in controlling the universe and obey her will.

     

    Goddess Durga exists eternally, always abiding in her own sweet nature and inhibits the hearts and minds of her ecstatic devotees. As Shakti power, she shapes, nurtures, and dissolves names and forms, while as subtle spiritual energy called Kundalini, She lights the lotuses of the seven centers of awareness in the sacred human body. Goddess Durga killed the powerful demon Mahisha and all his great commanders. When demonic forces create imbalance all god unite becoming one divine force called Shakti or Durga.

     

    The next is Ugra Shiva Pooja.

    Sri Sri Selvam Siddhar, also known as Dr Commander Selvam, is one of the few swamis who gives money away, as opposed to taking it from his devotees.

    The Apple Valley, California-based swami, who claims to have assets worth $1.5 billion, recently donated $5 million to build a Shiva temple in Norcross, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.

    "The temple will be unique," the swami, who earlier was a police officer and a commander in the Home Guards in Chennai in the early 90s, said. "It will house 108 Shiva murtis, not Shiva lingas as in other temples.

    "The main shape of Lord Shiva is in the form of the lingam – but his human form is not seen anywhere in the world. The panchaloha (five-metal) idol of Shiva as presiding deity will be seen in our temple."

    The swami claims that it was only after several years of research that he came across the various human forms of Shiva, such as Sugasanamoorthy, Krodha Rudhrar, Akora Rudhramoorthy, etc; it is these forms that will be represented, in idol form, in the upcoming temple.

    The Hindu Temple and Community Center of Georgia, a non-profit organisation, will take responsibility for construction of the temple. A ten-acre plot with a 45,000 square foot building that was formerly a Catholic church has been purchased for the purpose.

    This facility will be converted into the temple; it is also proposed to construct a new, 100,000 square foot building on the land. There will be separate temples for Guru (Jupiter) and Shani (Saturn). Hindu goddesses like Jagan Mohini, Soolini, Neeli, Chandi, and Akora Bhairavi will also be housed in the temple complex.

    The project is estimated to cost $20million, of which $3 million will be donated by the Sri Agasthiayar Siddar Peetam, based near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, of which the swami is the 26^th matathipathy (head). The rest will, he said, be contributed by his devotees worldwide.

    The swami said he had decided to construct the temple following a revelation; the site was also shown to him then, he said. "Many people asked me why I could not build the temple in California or in major centers like New York or New Jersey. I told them about the darshan," he said.

    A native of Palghat in Kerala, Siddhar was initiated to sanayas by his guru Maharishi Chinnappa Siddhar. He came to the US a decade ago with a few hundred dollars. He began speculating in real estate, and made a lot of money. "I am a good speculator. Every day, two or three properties are purchased or closed," he said.

    Is money-making a fit activity for a sanyasi? "Without my life being successful, how can I make others successful?" he counters.

    Though a 'swami' himself, he detests his tribe, especially those based in the US. "They all come for money. If they only want to help people, why should they come to the US? They pretend to solve problems. If they could do that, why can't they solve the problems in India?"

    The 35-year-old swami is believed to be an expert in Atharva Veda, the fourth and most arcane of the Vedas. He has, he says, also been trained in Siddha Vaidya, an indigenous medical system like Ayurveda. At his Apple Valley ashram, he helps his devotees through jyothisha and tantric rituals. The ashram, which is valued at an estimated $83 million, has 48 priests who attend to the needs of devotees worldwide.

    His main work, he says, is to use tantric rituals to solve people's problems – mental and material. He is, he claims, the only Indian spiritual parapsychologist in US who specializes in the occult sciences, and the only one qualified to solve problems such as the attack of evil sprits, the spirits of the dead attaching themselves to the living, voodoo, black magic, bad luck, and such.

    Why Atma -Jnan? ( self

    realization)

     

    Every human being has three types of energy, (I) Physical energy (ii), Intellectual energy and (iii) nternal Energy that is our Soul. Among all three , the energy of Pure Soul is the source for the other two forms of energy. When the soul leaves the living body Physical energy and Intellectual energy are no longer there in non living body. , . That is why the Pure soul is superior to Physical (Body), and ntellectual (mind) energy since it is the very source of our Existence. Now in many Vedic scriptures it is said that Atma, pure soul itself is Parmatma, meaning pure Soul is God which is why all scriptures say “Know Thyself”. Without this knowledge, one cannot attain the state of Parmarthma Atma - Jnan or experience of Pure Soul or self realization is akin to God realization. The consequence of this is One sees only the Pure Soul everywhere all the time and he always remains in His Blissful state of mind unperturbed by the events and for ever living in the Present. One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Gynani is that he is always living in the Present. Where and how can we get Atma-Jnan?  

    It is common knowledge that to be able to swim or drive a car it is not suffcient to read books on the subject or watch others do so. . Books and other forms of instruction can give only useful guidance and

    understanding of swimming and car driving. In the same way. spiritual books or spiritual Video and Audio cassettes can give us guidance and knowledge (to an extent) what is Atma Gynan?? To be able to experience and truly live a life of a realized soul, one has to seek a Gynani who has and is living in body, mind and speech just like us and can lead us on the right path so that our mission is fulfilled. Again, he can only be a guide but a Living guide with whom we can freely communicate and seek proper guidance. Lord Krishna highlights the importance of the Gynais to Arjuna to bring out the Greatness of the ynani,

    He categorically tells Arjuna that this Knowledge can only be obtained by Complete Surrender to the Gynani who will then guide you and take you to your final liberation. Why so??? Because Lord Krishna knows that the Gynani sees only the Pure Soul , God, in each and every living being and to him everything in this world is Only Atma and Avastha, the former being your true Self and the latter the circumstances that continuously come and go which are reflected in our mind, speech and body, again, due to the Existence of the SELF (Atma)within us. which remains as the “ witness” of everything

     

    All the religious scriptures, Vedas, Upanishads proclaim after repeated negations of everything around us in this world that” “this is Not the I,” this is not the I (Brahman) that the “I,” is not something that is external to us but it is a State of Being. From this we can infer that what we refer to as a Gynani is not the Person but the Dasha—the State of Being. At all times while living in the mortal body the Gynani’s

    state remains UNPERTURBED, This state is the culmination of the search for ones true identity in any

    former births. From then on it is the Liberated State of the Gynani that we see and experience if we are fortunate to meet one in our life time. By living out his natural life in this state he is the exemplar of hat the scriptures refer to as the Nirvikalpa Samadhi. The Jains refer to this state as the Vitrag (no Rag and dwesh) state. Those who have been sincere after the pursuit of liberation birth after birth, for the sake of those souls, Nature bestows amidst them in age after age a Gynani who, through his infinite Grace and infinite Karuna, liberates them from the shackles of birth and death. Lord Krishna affrms to Arjuna when asked what happens to those who seek the Atma Gynan but do not attain this in this lifetime ..

    Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that In this path there is no return, you only go up and realize your True Self.. Vashistha was a Jnani himself, a self realized soul and he, through his divine grace, gave Atma- Jnan to Lord Rama The understanding that who you are, the knowledge of one’s true self enabled Rama. who was already ready for this Knowledge, to separate his roles and conduct himself in a way that ultimately led to Moksha.. Vashista was at the level of Pure soul that’s how he was able to see that Rama will reach the level of Pure Soul and achieve Moksha. In the same way, Lord Krishna the Atma –Jnani . gave Atman-Jnan to Arjuna through his grace during Geeta-Jnan. For Krishna, everyone was equal because

    he had vision of Atman in every living creature. Another example of an Atma-Jnani is Lord rushabhdev ( Adi-Nath Bhagvan) who gave Jnan to his son Bharat ( after whom the nation, became Bharat Desh which is now India) . From these well established examples it becomes very clear that only a living tma-Jnani can give the Jnan to others.

     

    The element of time, however. Plays an important role in this and that is why it is rare to come in contact with a living Gynani purush. In Kaliyug, for reasons other than what we normally attribute to Kaliyug (dishonesty, jealousy etc) it is rare to come in contact with a Truly enlightened soul–one who is totally detached from mind, speech and body. Detachment that is referred to is not indifference but total detachment meaning not even a trace or speck of Rag or Dwesh. In all actions of the body, mind and

    speech. Of all this, at all times, the Gynanis total detachment to his own speech(not possessive) is the TRUE SIGN of Gynan ..  The Necessity for Reading Scriptures, Religious Books , Cassettes etc… The initiation and awakening within us starts by reading and associating our self with people who have similar interests . Lord Shankara extols the greatness of Satsang and it is also a common saying that the

    character of a person is very much infuenced by the company he or she keeps. Just as we need food , water and air for our subsistence (physical and mental), we should also give Food for our spiritual development. Therefore the books, temples and all Adhyatmic activities should be balanced in our day to day life. By studying spiritual books, lectures etc and assimilating the knowledge and living a life of morality and sincerity one is prone to do good deeds which will result in Punya. By leading such a life, at the right time, we are given the gift of a Gynani by Nature (the birth and time of a Gynai in our midst is purely a Natural process) whose only purpose is to set the ripened and ready souls on the path of Liberation–

     

    Moksha. What Books can not give : Books, Cassettes etc. cannot take away the Ego which is the source of our wrong belief starting with I am this BODY with a name and all other attributes. Along with this wrong belief we associate doer ship to everything that happens—I did, he did , she did, which is far from the truth. The Gynani in his unique way fractures these wrong beliefs and makes one realize One.s own true identity, At the same time, the ego in us is rooted out and in its place is seated. if you will, the Awareness that we are not the doer but only a witness all the time of what is happening. Gradually this awareness results in a state where we accept everything in the course of obligations or debts (and receive

    the benefts as gifts or credits) and use the ego only in the Functional needs of the body, mind etc —ating

    ,sleeping, working etc but always careful to refrain from assertions , insistence, opinions, judgment etc

    which is the nature of the worldly ego.. Books Cassettes are non-living, it has no vitality, while Atma is Vital, It is Life itself/. How can a non-vital entity give experience of the vital?.

     

    What is Moksha ?

     

     

    Moksha is not a state to reach as is commonly believed. It is the awakening and dawning which culminates in total freedom from all types of bondage which result in the repeated birth and death cycles

    of the physical body to dispense the Karmas(papas and punyas). Paradoxically while we dispense our past karmas, we also accumulate new karmas due to our wrong belief that we are the doer and our

    mind, intellect and ego endorse all our actions as “ours” which bears the consequence of repeated births. Atma Gynan imparts that Knowledge and Right Belief that leads to freedom from our actions

    even in this very life. It changes our understanding completely and that knowledge becomes the guiding light for the remainder of this life and the lives to come  Is there any rules or any requirement for having Atman Jnan ? No there are no rules at all, Jnani never tells do this or that or don’t do that. He never tells, give up this and accept that, He never tells anyone to give up his or her religious belief.

     

    Atma Jnan is a Vision, the vision Arjuna got from Krishna.

     

    The Only requirement is readiness to submit your ego and the frm conviction that I don’t know anything ( like Arjuna said to Krishna “ I don’t know anything” )

     

    Eyes and Ears can not see or listen by themselves without the primordial energy which is the Vital Atma, When the Vital Atma leaves the living body eyes can not see and ears cannot listen. So only a Vital edia can give the experience of vital, give experience of vital. Another example, is the picture of a candle on paper can not give light, it can give understanding of how candle burns gives light. In order to get light ,a real lighted Candle is needed. . If books were suffcient to give Atma-Jnan, Lord Krishna could have

    referred Arjuna to the sacred books . Instead, he imparted this Knowledge directly without any EDIUM

    to Arjuna and having received the knowledge , Arjuna emphatically tells the Lord—All my doubts are dispelled Krishna, I am ready to fght now. The entire discourse of the Gita and the Essence of the Atma Gynan—the Pure Soul and its characteristics was given to a Single person in the battleground. This only shows the Power of the Giver of the Gynan and the gifted pupil Arjuna who was ready and evolved to receive this Gynan inside (developed soul) but deluded by what he was seeing externally together with

    the belief that He is the DOER (ego). Once this was annihilated, the true vision dawns and the rest is known.

These chakras are very important for energy balance and perfect synchronization of interior and exterior rhythms or HEF (human energy field) and UEF (universal energy field). Chakras are bioplasmic energy fields composed of ions, free protons and electrons. This state is distinct from four known states of matter i.e. solid, liquid, gases and plasma. Hence chakras are fifth state of matter. The energy field of these chakras can be measured by SQUID, EEG and kirlian photography. A normal developed and opened chakra always spins clockwise and gains pranic energy from UEF while counter-clockwise movement of a chakra makes energy flow out which makes a chakra closed, sick and abnormal. In Chetna Therapy through constant practice of dhyan (meditation), mantra jap (mantra recitation) and darshan (visualization) one can rebalance the distorted energy system of chakras to be free from diseases. For example, in cancer the Manipur and Visudha chakras lose their protective sheath which can be cured by Chetna Therapy. Muladhar chakra is a yellow square with four vermilion petals. The square represents earth element related to predominant sense smell and sense organ nose. This chakra governs spinal column and kidneys and effects the functioning of adrenal gland. A well balanced and strong Muladhar chakra gives a strong will to live while a weak and imbalanced chakra gives a tendency to suicide, violent behaviour, inferiority complex and feelings of insecurity. In polio and cerebral palsy this chakra bends towards the side of the healthy leg. Persons dominated by this chakra usually sleep on their stomach between ten to twelve hours daily. In Chetna therapy Muladhar chakra is aroused by chanting of the Bija mantra "Lam" 56 times. This should be followed by colour energy by covering the patient with yellow cloth. The second chakra, Svadhisthana, is in the form of a circle with a crescent. The colour is light blue. It represents water element related to predominant sense of taste and sense organ tongue. This chakra controls kidneys, bladder, reproductive organs and large intestine of the body and gonad. It is very closely related to the quality of love and sex. If this chakra is normal the person enjoys mental and physical well being. If it is blocked the individual will be impotent with premature orgasm. In AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases Muladhar and Svadhisthana are clogged. Bladder diseases, enlarged prostrate, hydrocele are associated with this chakra. To arouse this chakra one should first of all concentrate on water or by gazing at the crescent moon for half on hour daily. Repetition of Bija mantra "Vam" 51 times daily definitely enhances sexual vigour and vitality. This chakra is also very closely related to the effectiveness of mental activities, attention, concentration and meditation. Keeping a picture of this chakra in front of you and concentrating on it elevates creative and sustaining energy in the individual and a feeling of peacefulness. A person with an active Svadhisthana chakra sleeps eight to ten hours in a foetal position, often pretends to be a prince or hero maintaining high self esteem. For proper functioning of this chakra one should keep fast on ekadashi (eleventh day of lunar month). The third chakra, Manipur, is in the form of an inverted red triangle located in a circle of ten petals with a golden colour bijakshar (seed). It represents fire element related to predominant sense, sight and sense organ, eyes. This chakra controls liver, pancreas, stomach, spleen, gall bladder, small intestines and sympathetic nervous system. The proper functioning of this chakra is necessary for the digestion and absorption of food. Anger and frustration causes depletion of this chakra energy. Indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer, gall bladder diseases are all associated with a malfunctioned Manipur chakra. Alcohol makes the chakra totally disfunctional. This chakra is also related to the emotional life of an individual. If the chakra is closed and not functioning harmoniously the person will have uncontrolled extremes of emotion which may result in hypertension and adrenal exhaustion. Many times this center acts as a block between heart and sexuality as the center related to health i.e. Anahata is above it and center related to sexuality i.e. Svadishthana is below. If both these chakras are functional and open but Manipur is blocked then a person's sexual life will be without emotional attachment and love and vice-versa. Repetition of Bija mantra "Ram" 108 times daily and wearing a string of rudraksh beads keeps the chakra in harmony and balance. Whenever a person is under heavy stress and tension a mere visualization on this chakra for 5-10 minutes with repetition of seed mantra will give immense soothing effect. Whenever concentrating on this chakra one should concentrate specially on the navel. The fourth chakra, Anahata, the most important chakra of the body, is in the form of a hexagram of a grey-green colour surrounded by 12 vermilion petals with a golden bijakshara. It represents ailment associated with sense of touch and sense organ skin. Associated with cardiac plexus it controls functions of heart, lungs, thymus and blood circulation. Congestion in Anahata chakra causes heart problem and related diseases. Excess of pranic energy in this chakra causes heart attack. In this case the inner aura may extend up from 6" to 3 feet. Asthma is another example of the hypofunction of this chakra. Within Anahata chakra is an eight petaled lotus in the center of which rests the spiritual heart or anand kanda on the right side very closely related with the physical heart on the left. An increase or decrease in the rate of heart beat serves as a warning signal that there is some abnormality in the anand kanda. The fourth chakra has a lingam also known as banalingam. This lingam radiates golden light and is formed from a mass of tissue in the nerve center at the Anahata chakra clearly visible in kirlian photography. "Om", the unstricken cosmic sound is a wondrous treatment for all heart ailments. Patients can be tremendously benefited by the pure musical tones of "Om". This chakra is also a seat of balance within the body with three chakras above and three chakras below distributing a uniform energy flow in both the directions. The person with an active fourth chakra sleeps from 4 to 6 hours on his left side. The fifth chakra, Vishudha, is in the form of a crescent of silver within a white circle surrounded by 16 golden petals. It deals with creative energy and sound in the body. It controls voice, oesophagus, vagus nerve, respiratory system, thyroid and parathyroid glands. It represents Akasha element associated with sense of hearing and sense organ ears. Blockage at this chakra causes dumbness, hypofunction of thyroid and sometimes difficulty in swallowing food and water. Sweet and melodious voice of singers is a virtue of harmonized Vishudha chakra. This chakra is also referred to as the professional center because if one is successful and satisfied with his job the center will be full blown. Fear of failure, competition and of not being liked blocks this chakra. Meditation on this chakra gives calmness, melodious voice, leadership traits, command of speech. The seed mantra of this chakra is "Ham", repetition of this mantra 101 times helps to normalize this chakra. Constant meditation on this chakra makes one youthful, free from old age wrinkles or aging defects. The person with active Vishudha chakra sleeps little, generally 6 hours, constantly changing sides. The sixth chakra, Ajna chakra, is in the form of a white circle with two petals. It controls lower brain, left eye, nose and cerebellum and pineal gland. The seed sound is "Aum". Malfunction of this chakra causes confused mental concepts, mental retardedness and epilepsy. It is very difficult to reactivate this chakra if there is some abnormality because only yogis are able to meditate here and practically it is very difficult for any one to heal it. This chakra and pineal gland are affected directly by waning and waxing cycles of the moon as the Ida (left nostril) and Pingla (right nostril) operate in accordance with these cycles, hence only Pranayam can redistribute the disturbed energy cycle between Muladhara and this chakra. The seventh and last chakra, Sahasrara, is in the form of a full moon. It controls pituitary gland, brain and right eye. This chakra is related to spirituality and unconscious conscious state. If this center is closed the person probably does not have cosmic feelings (samadhi) which is only associated with yogis. Hence the chakra is rarely used by the common individual. There are seven major chakras in our body which have been identified with the following nerve plexuses. Muladhar: in perineum sacrococcygeal nerve plexus Svadhisthana: four fingers above lumbosacral nerve plexus Manipur: opposite the umbilicus lumbar plexus Anahata: over the 6th thorasic spine cardiac plexus Vishudha: opposite the larynx laryngeal plexus Ajna: opposite glabella, cerebellum and its lobes Sahasrara: between third ventricle & pituitary.

• ARRESTS of Dr. Commander Selva

    Annamalai Annamalai, who goes by the rather funny and misleading titles such as Dr Commander Selvam Siddhar Swamiji Maharishi Sri Sri and others, was arrested and thrown in jail (Gwinnett County Detention Center) by Gwinnett County Police Department on October 30, 2008.  Authorities showed up outside his home and office with the arrest and search warrants on October 29th, but he evaded arrest for 1 full day before surrendering to police on October 30.  He was arrested, booked, mugshot, finger-printed and jailed on October 30. He has been let out on bail after he posted a surety bond of $121,400.00.  He was arrested on two felony counts of 'THEFT BY TAKING' and 'PRACTICE OF MEDICINE WITHOUT A LICENSE'. 

    On Apr 21 2009, Annamalai was arrested AGAIN on two more felony counts.  GCPD took out 2 warrants for his arrest on 04/20/2009, and arrested him on 04/21/2009 on 2 felony counts related to CREDIT CARD FRAUD.  He was booked at the Gwinnett County Detention Center at 3 pm.  After spending 5 hours behind bars at the jail, Annamalai bailed out at 8 pm.  He posted a surety bond of $22400.  You can view the mugshots and arrest records at http://photobucket.com/ExposeSelvam2009.  The warrants are available at http://www.gwinnettcourts.com/#partycasesearch/pnamelast:annamalai/pcsform:1/.   Annamalai paid an additional bond amount of $20,000 because he committed the same offenses for which he was arrested earlier ... old habits die hard. 

    You should know that Annamalai Annamalai faced two felony counts of CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE for molesting a child (a girl under the age of 15) in Arizona in 2003.  The indictment was issued after probable cause was found in the incident in which he performed a sexual act on the child's breasts.  You can view the indictment at www.tinyurl.com/ChildMolestorSelvam.

    Annamalai also allegedly stole furniture from a Gwinnett furniture store in 2006.  The furniture store filed suit but Annamalai escaped because he was successful in not leaving a trail.

    Annamalai's chief priest Lakshmanan Viswanathan (aka LV SHARMA) was arrested on September 10, 2008 on 1 felony count of FALSE STATEMENTS to Gwinnett County Sheriffs' Department.  Lakshmanan Viswanathan was released on bail from the Gwinnett County Detention Center after he posted a bond of $5,700.00.
