It was focused on one achieved target that it reaches a 500,000 trial loan modifications a month in advance, which is November. Though the critics acclaim that this achievement had little significance. There are still foreclosures taking place and it is not going to stop foreclosures.
If we look at the good part about this program, we see that this achievement has not come without cajoling loan modification companies here and there. The first few months saw hardly any Loan Modification, so slow that many started to believe that this target would not even be met. But if there are 500,000 families with lower mortgage repayments, no one can call it anything, less than good. So many mortgage payments have been lowered. This process seems faster than the foreclosures. Around forty percent of all the qualifying homeowners have benefitted from this program. This comes up to 1.2 million of homeowners.
On the other hand, on the not so greener side of the picture economists claim that there is no way that millions of people will not lose their homes before this down turn ends. Again, this home loan modification is only on trial basis that is if the owner is not able to pay one of the payments in the first three months then it would be void. If the owner is able to survive this trial period, then he has to submit more papers for modify mortgage and then technically it will not allow the loans to be modified.
Again there is no record known to us about how many people's loan repayment period was extended, how many of them got decreased rates of interest, or how many people could lower their principal balance. For the record, it is important that you try and decrease your principle amount of your loan. It is worrisome situation since loan modification cannot help if people are out of work and are not able to repay at all. One can only say the situation is far from being solved.

Another radical mastectomy and follow-up treatments. She lived another 30+ years from these self-tests. They didn't cost anything - and saved - or at least added 30 years to her life and mine.
Mr. Obama's doctors have started the trashing of our great medical system with the most rediculous of statements telling women not to self-examine due to excess concern and false positives. That the expense of testing these false positives is unnecessary. A best friend, recently obtaining her MBA through GSU, found a lump, a very small knot, in one breast - on her own. A lumpectomy later, and some follow-up treatments and she is cancer free for years now. How smart would it have been for her to have waited to be 50 to check for a lump? She's approaching 50 this year - she'd be dead. So for Obamacare, that potential for a false positive wasn't worth much.
So men, black men in particular, I guess we can put off those pesky prostate checks. So much for Dr. Bigfinger asking you to bend over the end of the table. Just wait until you are 80 - if you make it that far - and you will probably have prostate cancer - but under Obamacare you won't need to worry because at anything past 65 you aren't worth putting any dollars into to make life better or extend your expectancy. No knees, no hips, certainly no prostate cancer treatments or penile implants.
We are in the midst of a revolution. To quote someone who was talking about another group, not our President and the leftists of this country, "They have been at war with us and we didn't recognize it as such." Obama and his gaggle of preposterous infidels are destroying everything we know as the Great United States of America. They will only get to push a little bit more and their hopes will be recognized. I firmly and wholly believe it is the intention of this group of gustapo intend to push the folks on the right as far as they need to in order to get a reaction where blood is actually spilled, not just words. I believe they will continue to berate, tax and take away freedoms until they finally get a physical push back - their ultimate opportunity for action.
When it finally happens - Marshall law - or Obama's equivalent - and then the real problems will ensue. The question for you to ask yourself - do you have enough food for your family stored to last for at least 2 months? Do you have enough firearms hidden that are not registered to fend off your neighbors that do not have enough food for 2 months? They will be asking - knocking on your door willling to do what they need to in order to feed their own. Obama intends to put you against your neighbor and destroy us from within. And the media is falling in place to encourage him. Sorros owns them and him - and the Chinese probably own him.

In an interview in the Chinese capital with Major Garrett of Fox News , Obama claimed he was "not disappointed" that the Guantanamo deadline had slipped, saying he "knew this was going to be hard."
"People, I think understandably, are fearful after a lot of years where they were told that Guantanamo was critical to keep terrorists out," Obama said. Closing the facility, he added, is "also just technically hard."
Obama came to office pledging to shut a detainee facility that had become a symbol for prisoner abuse at the hands of American officials. He signed orders to shut the military prison by January 2010, but White House officials quickly encountered resistance from members of Congress opposed to moving prisoners to U.S. soil and from other countries they had hoped would accept detainees."
This one I have to disagree with President Obama! Forget the politics and social relationships with other countries.
These are evil people who will not freely give out information that can save lives in this country. So how do we get the information out of them?

For the past few years snopes has positioned itself, or others have labeled it, as the'tell-all final word' on any comment, claim and email. But for several years people tried to find out who exactly was behind snopes . Only recently did Wikipedia get to the bottom of it - kinda makes you wonder what they were hiding. Well, finally we know. It is run by a husband and wife team - that's right, no big office of investigators and researchers, no team of lawyers. It's just a mom-and-pop operation that began as a hobby.
David and Barbara Mikkelson in the San Fernando Valley of California started the website about 13 years ago - and they have no formal background or experience in investigative research. After a few years it gained popularity believing it to be unbiased and neutral, but over the past couple of years people started asking questions who was behind it and did they have a selfish motivation?
The reason for the questions - or skepticisms - is a result snopes claiming to have the bottom line facts to certain questions or issue when in fact they have been proven wrong. Also, there were criticisms the Mikkelsons were not really investigating and getting to the 'true' bottom of various issues.
A few months ago, when my State Farm agent Bud Gregg in Mandeville hoisted a political sign referencing Barack Obama and made a big splash across the internet, 'supposedly' the Mikkelson's claim to have researched this issue before posting their findings on snopes . In their statement they claimed the corporate office of State Farm pressured Gregg into taking down the sign, when in fact nothing of the sort 'ever' took place.
I personally contacted David Mikkelson (and he replied back to me) thinking he would want to get to the bottom of this and I gave him Bud Gregg's contact phone numbers - and Bud was going to give him phone numbers to the big exec's at State Farm in Illinois who would have been willing to speak with him about it. He never called Bud. In fact, I learned from Bud Gregg no one from snopes ever contacted anyone with State Farm.
Yet, snopes issued a statement as the 'final factual word' on the issue as if they did all their homework and got to the bottom of things - not! Then it has been learned the Mikkelson's are very Democratic (party) and extremely liberal. As we all now know from this presidential election, liberals have a purpose agenda to discredit anything that appears to be conservative.. There has been much criticism lately over the internet with people pointing out the Mikkelson's liberalism revealing itself in their website findings.
Gee, what a shock? So, I say this now to everyone who goes to snopes to get what they think to be the bottom line facts...'proceed with caution.' Take what it says at face value and nothing more. Use it only to lead you to their references where you can link to and read the sources for yourself. Plus, you can always Google a subject and do the research yourself. It now seems apparent that's all the Mikkelson's do. After all, I can personally vouch from my own experience for their 'not' fully looking into things. Washington Post-ABC News poll conducted Nov. 12-15 among a random national sample of 1,001 adults. The results have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.
In a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, 47 percent say suspects accused of involvement in the 9/11 terrorist attacks should be tried in the U.S. federal court system, while as many, 48 percent, say they prefer military tribunals set up for that purpose.
Also typical is the evident partisan split on the matter: 61 percent of Democrats would rather see trials in civilian courts, with 58 percent of Republicans preferring the military route. Independents tilt 53-42 toward military tribunals.
In previously released data, 53 percent of Americans approve of the job President Obama is doing handling the threat of terrorism; 41 percent disapprove. Approval of the way he is dealing with the issue peaks among Democrats at 77 percent, slides to 46 percent among independents and 33 percent among Republicans."

Discrepancies on government web site call into question stimulus spending.There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.
Late Monday, officials with the Recovery Board created to track the stimulus spending, said the mistakes in crediting nonexistent congressional districts were caused by human error.
"We report what the recipients submit to us," said Ed Pound, Communications Director for the Board.
Pound told ABC News the board receives declarations from the recipients - state governments, federal agencies and universities - of stimulus money about what program is being funded.
"Some recipients clearly don't know what congressional district they live in, so they appear to be just throwing in any number. We expected all along that recipients would make mistakes on their congressional districts, on jobs numbers, on award amounts, and so on. Human beings make mistakes," Pound said.
The issue has raised hackles on Capitol Hill.
Rep. David Obey, D-Wisc, who chairs the powerful House appropriations Committee, issued a paper statement demanding that the recovery.gov Web site be updated.
"The inaccuracies on recovery.gov that have come to light are outrageous and the Administration owes itself, the Congress, and every American a commitment to work night and day to correct the ludicrous mistakes."

Well, Obama decided he wants them back. Yep. According to the IRS, Obama has never asked for an adjustment of the tax tables, so millions of Americans are going to get taxed for having received the tax credits back in February — typically through adjustments the federal government demanded businesses make in employees’ withholdings.
“While implementing a credit through reduced withholding is an effective way to provide economic stimulus evenly throughout the year, it is difficult to account for everyone’s circumstances,” said J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. “More than 10 percent of all taxpayers who file individual tax returns for 2009 could owe additional taxes.”
The tax credit is also available for 2010. Russell said the problems will continue in 2010 if they are not resolved
WASHINGTON — More than 15 million taxpayers could unexpectedly owe taxes when they file their federal returns next spring because the government was too generous with their new Making Work Pay tax credit.
Taxpayers are at risk if they have more than one job, are married and both spouses work, or receive Social Security benefits while also earning taxable wages, according to a report Monday by the Treasury Department's inspector general for tax administration.
The tax credit, which is supposed to pay individuals up to $400 and couples up to $800, was President Barack Obama's signature tax break in the massive stimulus package enacted in February.
Most workers started receiving the credit through small increases in their paychecks in April. The tax credit was made available through new withholding tables issued by the Internal Revenue Service.
The withholding tables, however do not take into account taxpayers with multiple jobs or married couples in which both people work. They also don't take into account Social Security recipients with jobs that provided taxable income.
The Social Security Administration sent out $250 payments to more than 50 million retirees in the spring as part of the economic stimulus package. The payments were meant to provide a boost for people who didn't' qualify for the tax credit.
However, they went to many retirees who also received the credit. Those retirees will have the $250 payment deducted from their tax credit — but not until they file their tax returns next year, long after the money may have been spent.
"While implementing a credit through reduced withholding is an effective way to provide economic stimulus evenly throughout the year, it is difficult to account for everyone's circumstances," said J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. "More than 10 percent of all taxpayers who file individual tax returns for 2009 could owe additional taxes."
The tax credit is also available for 2010. Russell said the problems will continue in 2010 if they are not resolved.
The credit pays workers 6.2 percent of their earned income, up to a maximum of $400 for individuals and $800 for married couples who file jointly. Individuals making more than $95,000 and couples making more than $190,000 are ineligible.
"Making Work Pay was designed to deliver much needed boosts to the paychecks of 95 percent of all working Americans," said Nayyera Haq, a Treasury Department spokeswoman. "Since enactment, more than 110 million families have benefited from as much as $60 in additional take home pay each month to put toward their family budgets, serving as a steady boost to spending and consumption."
For many, the new tax tables will simply mean smaller-than-expected tax refunds next year. The average tax refund this year was about $2,800.
The IRS, in a response to the audit, advised taxpayers to check their withholding throughout the year to make sure they don't get hit with an unexpected tax bill.
"The withholding system must approximate the tax liability of tens of millions of Americans, and therefore, cannot be tailored precisely to fit every individual situation," Richard Byrd Jr., commissioner of the IRS' wage and investments division, wrote in the agency's response to the report.

He could care less - he want credit for bringing jobs to Illinois - no, that isn't it either.
What Dick Turbin wants is favor of the Osama, I mean the Obama administration (or both I guess). This is every bit as bad as bringing the mastermind of 911 to New York City for prosecution. When will Obama get over trying to put down the Bush administration. We went 7 years without any attacks on the US by muslim extremists under Bush - we didn't make it a year under Obama and 13 people are dead on one of our own military bases. Bringing the muslim extremists to New York to be tried in civilian courts will open up the world to their propaganda on a daily basis. How did the "mastermind" know, when he was captured, that he would be tried in New York City, what he said when he was arrested.
How bad is it going to get with the Obama administration? Am I so out of step with the majority in this country? Why is it that every time I turn on the TV or pick up a newspaper I find myself getting angry? This week I couldn’t believe that our illustrious Attorney General, Eric Holder was there on Television telling us that they were bringing our sworn enemies to New York for a civilian trial. Where in our Constitution does it say we have to give our legal rights to our enemies? In my mind I am asking who benefits from this stupidity, the families of the victims, the fire fighters who lost their brethren, the police and port authority who still hear the screams of the dying in their sleep. How about us, the general public who witnessed planes full of everyday people crashing into the buildings, or the bodies of innocent office workers hurling themselves out of the twin towers to keep from burning alive. None of the above is the answer in case you wondered. There is one answer that comes to mind but I can’t even fathom anyone could be so callous, It’s been stated that Attorney General Holders former law firm, the one that he will surely return to when this country finally regains its senses, represents several terrorists already. Could this be a motive? Are they that arrogant that they would even consider this?
Are we so intimidated by European opinion that it is really necessary that we close Gitmo? We have been so smothered in political correctness that it is affecting our ability to survive as a world power. Who has earned the right to judge our system of government? What part of Europe didn’t we save from tyranny? What would China be today if we hadn’t stopped the Japanese in WWII? How have our enemies treated our captives, from WWII through Korea, Viet Nam, or in The Middle East? The people held in Guantanamo have it better than they did in their own countries. I call them people only because I am so influenced by political correctness that I find it hard to call them what they really are. In our history we have always been the savior of the world not the bad guy. This administration seems to be of the belief that we have a lot to apologize for. Even though I didn’t vote for him I actually thought that after Obama was sworn in, he would see the world for what it really is and temper his agenda for the good of America. I was wrong, his agenda seems to be to destroy the America we grew up in and remake it into a socialist society. To accomplish this goal he has to break the spirit of our people and render them impotent to his will. He has surrounded himself with a group of people who actually despise our country. Socialist, Communist and some of the loudest voices against American freedom are entrenched in his cabinet and his army of Czars.
In history we learn what is in our future, if you bother to read the history of Germany and the Soviet Union you will see where we are headed. When the President goes to Copenhagen and signs the treaty on Global Warming, we as a sovereign nation will cease to exist. When we give others the right to make and enforce our laws we will have fought all wars, and left all our battle fields littered with our dead for nothing. America will no longer be the shinning city on the hill that so many have held in reverence. The United States that has been the benefactor to the world deserves better. Shout and shout loud, make these egotistical, narcissists hear your demands. Let them know that this is our land, and we’ll defend it with all we have. - Blog post

We have heard enough times now that he 'inherited' all these problems from the Bush administration. Only partially true, the war in Iraq being the only major issue. The financial bubble began and reached it's peak during the Clinton administration, with Democrats such as Frank and Dodd leading the way, notwithstanding the Republicans part of that phony 'great' economy then and during the following eight years. But consider the degree of damage to the economy and to personal freedoms, and then, if you can be honest with yourself, please explain who is hurting us most.
Partisan politics is no longer the answer. Removal of the arrogant elite from office is a beginning to the best answer. And to the one that said ''There is no intelligent life beyond the beltway'', I have a message. This country has survived more than 200 years inspite of Washington, D.C., not because of it.***

JERUSALEM – Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign for the Democrat nomination deliberately appealed to white supremacy, fear and anxiety, charged longtime Barack Obama colleague and Weatherman terrorist William Ayers and wife, Bernardine Dohrn.
In a co-authored article in the socialist Monthly Review magazine, the two radicals argued last year's national elections had "racist" undertones and that President Obama's ascent to power can be used to "build a new society."
"[Hillary] Clinton flagrantly appealed to white voters' identity as 'workers' or 'women' – offering white people any reason to vote against Obama without saying he's black – and followed the ancient and dismal road of racial discourse that appeals to white supremacy, fear and anxiety," wrote Ayers and Dohrn.
The two referenced a New York Times opinion piece by feminist activist Gloria Steinem, "Women are Never Front-Runners," written on the eve of the New Hampshire primary. Steinem argued the gender barrier had not yet been broken and asked, "Why is the sex barrier not taken as seriously as the racial one?"
Ayers and Dohrn charged Steinem had asserted a "superior victim status on the part of white, powerful women."
"The invisible race talk was about 'blue collar' or 'working class' or 'mainstream' or 'small town' or 'hockey mom' or 'Joe the plumber,' but we were meant to think 'white,'" they wrote.
Continued Ayers and Dohrn: "All the talk of Senator Barack Obama's exotic background, all the references to him as 'unknown, 'untested,' a 'stranger,' or a 'symbolic candidate,' or 'alien,' a 'wildcard,"'or an 'elitist.' ... The discourse was all about race, us and them, understood by everyone in the United States even when the words African American, black or white are not spoken."
The couple, however, took pride in Obama's win.
They said Obama's presidency "calls for us to have to agitate for democracy and egalitarianism, press harder for human rights, link the demands that animate us, and learn to build a new society through our collective self-transformations and our limited everyday struggles.
"We must seek ways to live sustainably; to stop the addiction to consumption and development and military power; to become real actors and authentic subjects in our own history," they wrote.
The two added, "Now their experience can be put to use mobilizing those same people to insist on the changes they imagined."
Ayers became a name in last year's presidential campaign when it was disclosed the radical worked closely with Obama for years.
Ayers, and his wife, Dohrn, were two of the main founders of the Weather Underground, which bombed the New York City Police headquarters in 1970, the Capitol in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972. The group was responsible for some 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.
Characterizing Weathermen as "an American Red Army," Ayers summed up the organization's ideology: "Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents."
"Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon," Ayers recalled in his 2001 memoir, "Fugitive Days." "The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them."
Ayers brandished his unrepentant radicalism for years to come, as evidenced by his now notorious 2001 interview with the New York Times, published one day after the 9/11 attacks, in which he stated, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."
Ayers posed for a photograph accompanying the New York Times piece that showed him stepping on an American flag. He said of the U.S.: "What a country. It makes me want to puke."
Ayers and Dohrn helped launch Obama's political career with a fundraiser in their home. WND columnist Jack Cashill has produced a series of persuasive arguments that it was Ayers who ghost-wrote Obama's award-winning autobiography, "Dreams from My Father."
