Will The New Stimulus Package
The Bush stimulus plan didn’t do anything for our family. We took the $1,800 check and just deposited for our doubled Ameren bills happening now. So, in reality, the economy from our home was still just the same. And, what do these large corporations really do with any type of bailout funds? Answer: They go to exotic places and throw huge parties plus give their executives large bonuses. Listen up SUITS - you are scum!
Now, what about the Obama stimulus plan? Some want a 4% mortgage rate on a 30 year Fixed Rate Mortgage (FRM) – will this really help? Personally, I don’t think it will. The reason why people are not buying homes is because they have to sell their current one (at least break even) or they are very timid because of their UNSTABLE JOBS. Come on folks, the 30 yr FRM in our area (STL) was around 5% for weeks. Real estate contracts to purchase didn’t increase dramatically. So, how about stimulating the economy by passing the buck to the taxpayer and not in the form of $1,800, add another zero too it and you’ll see people go crazy. That’s why some are in trouble because they did go crazy thanks to lenders.
Finally; what do you think of Obama’s new plan to put a cap on executive salaries/bonuses? I really like it since the main reason why certain corporations are in trouble is because they dish out millions of dollars to the “SUITS” (those dudes doing absolutely nothing to generate revenues). So, let’s make the top pay of any company no more than that of the POTUS – this will stimulate the job market dramatically. Those making too much money will retire and then certain folks will be promoted to the $399K per year spot and the bottom level positions will be JOB OPENINGS!
Habitual Drunk Driver Kills Th
Yesterday morning at 1:40am an alleged drunk driver traveling the wrong way on I-255 (IL) plows head-on into a family of 4. A man, woman, and 9 year old boy were killed in the crash while the 11 year old daughter is still in critical condition. Why do I repeat such horrific news because I hate drunk drivers. The driver is being charged on 14 different counts.
If you drink and drive, and are reading this blog go seek help now before you become a killer like this 46 year old drunk. He supposedly was traveling the wrong way for up to 8 minutes which tells me he must have a somewhat cognizant of what he was doing. It is amazing how ignorant society is when it comes to alcohol and getting behind the wheel. I have attached the video from our OLD blogging site’s news station in hopes that we each can be thankful we were home that night.
Here’s the sad thing, this family was together at this time in this area because of the death of a grandmother. So, they were here for a funeral! (see video link below)

A biblical same-sex love story
(since this particular blog had to be as detailed and comprehensive as possible, it's very long... so it's intended only for those who have the patience, or interest, to read it)
In the early material on David (1 Sam 16-17), three times the narrator calls attention to David’s beauty – more times in the Bible than in any other case. First, the prophet Samuel notes that David “was ruddy [admoni, Strong #132], and had beautiful eyes [yapheh ‘ayinim, #3303, #5869], and was handsome [to behold, tob ro’i, #2896, #7210].” (16:12, NRSV) Then, when a young court servant recommends David to Saul, he describes him (among other things) as “a handsome [to’ar, #8389] person” (16:18, NKJV). Finally, the giant notes that David, his opponent, was “a youth, ruddy [admoni] and good-looking [yapheh mar’eh, #3303, #4758]” (17:42, NKJV). Here, the common language used throughout the OT to describe beauty is found again, including yapheh and tob (“beautiful, handsome” in both cases), along with to’ar and mar’eh (“[in] figure or shape”). However, new words in the David descriptions include ro’i (#7210, “a … sight [to behold]) and admoni and ‘ayinim, translated as “ruddy” and “eyes” respectively in the NRSV – although the last two Hebrew words present a challenge to translators.
Jonathan’s intense love and attraction to David: Not surprisingly, after making such an emphasis about David’s good looks, the reader begins to find responses to this in the text. For example, in 1 Sam 18:1 we read, “Now when he [David] had finished speaking to Saul, the soul [nephesh] of Jonathan was knit to the soul [nephesh] of David, and Jonathan loved [aheb, #157] him as his own soul [nephesh].” Then (v. 3), “Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he [Jonathan] loved [ahaba, #160] him as his own soul.” Later, when the two make a second covenant, we are told (20:17) that “Jonathan again caused David to vow, because he [Jonathan] loved [ahaba, #160] him; for he loved [ahaba, #160] him as he loved [aheb, #157] his own soul.” (NKJV, underlining added) In addition to this, we are told in 19:1 that Jonathan “delighted [kaphes, #2654] greatly” in David” (NKJV). So, in response to three references to David’s beauty, there appear three references describing Jonathan’s love for him – two of them twice using the verb “love” and the third using the related verb “delights [in].” Strong’s lexicon notes that the aheb (#157) means “to have affection for (sexually or otherwise),” along with the related terms oheb (#159) and ahaba (#160), the last a feminine form. The male and female forms of “love” (verb and noun) appear to be used interchangeably in Scripture, e.g. in Song of Songs 2:4-5, the beloved [girl] says, “He [King Solomon] brought me to the banqueting house, and his intention toward me was love [#160]. Sustain me with raisins, refresh me with apples; for I am faint with love [#160].” (NRSV)
The Bible records three pacts that Jonathan and David made. The first covenant was made very shortly after they met. In 1 Sam 18:3-4 (NRSV), we read: “Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul [NIV: ‘as himself,’ nephesh]. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that he was wearing, and gave it to David, and his armor [NIV, REB: ‘tunic’], and even his sword and his bow and his belt.” The preceding verses relate how after David had finished speaking with Saul, “the soul [nephesh] of Jonathan was bound [qashar] to the soul [nephesh] of David, and Jonathan loved [aheb] him as his own soul” (v. 1); and after this, Saul would not let David return home (v. 2). The emphasis here clearly is on the intense love Jonathan felt for David, expressed through the combined and repeated use of “loved,” “bound [to]” (this used only once), and nephesh, which indicates the extent of Jonathan’s love (as compelling as the love and interest one has toward oneself). Jonathan’s attraction to David appears in the narrative like a bolt out of the blue: spontaneous, intense, and earth-shattering for him. He expresses this love then by the giving to David all of the clothes he was wearing and all of the weapons he was carrying, the significance of which represented the entire “giving away [of] one’s own self,”.. i.e. the giving of his whole heart and self to David.
The second covenant was made near the end of their time together in Gibeah and is recorded in 1 Sam 20:16-17 (NRSV): “Thus Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, ‘May the Lord seek out the enemies of David.’ Jonathan made David swear again, by his love for him; for he loved him as he loved his own life.” (1 Sam 20:16-17, NRSV)
20:42 (NRSV) records, “Then Jonathan said to David, ‘Go in peace, since both of us have sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord will be between me and you, and between my descendents and your descendents, forever.’” The repetition of aheb/ahaba (“love/loved”) and of nephesh (“as [much as] his own life”) in 20:17 is a very clear emphasis on this pact having strongly homoeroticized elements as well as political elements.
The third covenant was probably made several years later and is noted in 1 Sam 23:18 (NRSV): “Then the two of them made a covenant before the Lord…” the pact made in 23:18 is not merely “a simple extension or re-confirmation of the [earlier] pact” described in 1 Sam 20, for the later pact looks deeper into the future and “lays down the work distribution and relationship which is the center of everything.” The third pact is best understood as a “fresh, bilateral covenant defining their new relationship.” In fact, each of the three pacts, while containing a common core of expressed love and commitment, seems to differ from what was pledged before, and so advances in content and adds detail to their relationship.
Just as three times our attention is directed to David’s beauty (16:12,18; 17:42), so also three times we are told that Jonathan “loved” David (18:1,3; 20:17). Interestingly, the same word aheb (“loved”), used in 18:1 referring to Jonathan, appears also in 18:20 referring to the princess Michal, where it has been rendered as “Michal had fallen in love with David”, or “…fell in love with David” Such a reading is bolstered by 19:1 which relates how Jonathan continued to take “great delight [kaphes] in David” (NRSV), since kephes usually appears in OT passages concerned with sexual desire and erotic love. This interpretation is further bolstered by comparing the Jonathan and David relationship to that of Shechem and Dinah in Gen 34, where the Hevite prince falls madly in love with Jacob’s daughter (underexpressed in the Hebrew, as usual, with “was drawn to,” v. 3, NRSV). Here we have exactly the same language as appears in 1 Sam 18:1,3 and 19:1, used to describe erotic passionwhich has led to sexual union – including “loved” (aheb), “heart” (nephesh) and “delighted [in]” (kephes) (34:3,8,19, NRSV), as well as the idea of “longs [for]” (kasaph, v. 8; J. Green: “bound [to]”), although 1 Sam 18:1 uses a different verb for this (qashar).
In 1 Sam 18, Jonathan and David stayed together in the capital city a number of months, perhaps up to a year, as David masters the arts of sword and bow (Jonathan at his side), gains real-life experience on the battlefield, and leads Israel’s army to many glorious victories (18:16,27,30; 9:8). However, in chs. 19-20 time rapidly speeds up. As Saul’s jealousy and rage toward David intensify, he hides his murderous attempts from Jonathan, while David’s life becomes one of terror, trying to keep one step ahead of Saul and his henchmen. Then, at a New Moon festival celebrated at court, Saul asked Jonathan why David was absent; and the prince explained that David had asked leave to join his family for an annual sacrifice in Bethlehem (20:6,27-29). “Then Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan. He said to him, ‘You son of a perverse, rebellious woman! Do I not know that you have chosen [bachar] the son of Jesse to your own shame [bosheth], and to the shame [bosheth] of your mother’s nakedness [‘erwa]? For as long as the son of Jesse lives upon the earth, neither you nor your kingdom shall be established. Now send and bring him to me, for he shall surely die.’” (1 Sam 20:30-31, NRSV). Then the enraged king hurled his spear straight at Jonathan, who jumped and fled in anger from the king’s table, realizing, at last, what a dangerous and deadly position David was in related to his father.
Although the first part of Saul’s insult is usually translated like “You son of a perverse, rebellious woman!” (18:30a, NRSV, cf. NIV, NRSV), the Hebrew is quite vulgar and would be more accurately rendered as, “You son of a slu.!” or “You son of a bi...!” Interestingly, Lucian’s version of the Greek Septuagint adds gunaikotraphe (“effeminate man”) here (Driver), an idea which Chrysostom reiterates (ca. 400); so the original Hebrew conveyed something of this element as well. Then, the second part of this insult reads, “Do I not know that you have chosen [bachar] the son of Jesse to your own shame [bosheth]…” (18:30b, NRSV). Instead of the verb bachar (Strong, #977) in the Hebrew, meaning “to choose,” the more ancient Greek text uses the noun metochos (Strong, #3353), meaning “to partner with, or companion with”.
The importance of the third part of this insult, which reads “…and to the shame [bosheth] of your mother’s nakedness [‘erwa]?” (18:30c, NRSV), cannot be denied. This final phrase is loaded, in fact, with sexual terminology, including ‘erwa (“nakedness”), most often used in the OT to refer to the genitals and the repeated bosheth (“shame”), which is usually used in a sexual context. One really has to ask, what was Jonathan doing – nakedly, sexually and shamefully – to receive such an insult as this? In fact, the language throughout 20:30 is so extremely sexually-charged it goes well beyond rationality to believe that we are not meant to interpret it in sexual ways.
For those who will bend over backwards in an attempt to say it was only a 'friendship', I'd like them to share how many well-known examples they can provide of heterosexual male 'friends' making 3 sacred covenants of 'love' and devotion to each other... disrobing completely and giving their clothes, weapons, and heart to their friend in the form of a covenant... having the father of one friend trying to kill his son's friend solely because they were 'friends', and while also stating to the other friend that his love for him "surpasses the love of any woman."
By that reasoning... there should be hundreds of similar detailed, explicit, and well-known heterosexual examples readily available for someone to contribute. :-)

A lesson in "CLASS"
Lately, there has been some heated issues that have indulged on RACE.
Some of those think that because if you Disagree with the PRESIDENT that....well, YOUR A RACIST! Not that you have a different ideology about where this country should be heading but, because YOU ARE A RACIST and YOU HATE the PRESIDENT because he is a BLACK MAN. (Of course those who cannot recognize a difference of ideology from RACE, have NO CLASS and I mean that in two ways..... STYLISHLY and EDUCATIONALY.)
Let me expound on what I mean by giving you an example:
Take last night for example.
In the middle of 19-year-old country star Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for winning Best Female Video at the MTV Video Music Awards, West rushed the stage to proclaim that the winner should have been Beyonce. Apparently, the social injustice of an award going to a white girl was just too much for West to tolerate.
Kanye West has NO CLASS!
His disgusting behavior was BOOed ! by the crowd.
When Beyonce accepted an award later, she gave Taylor a chance to finish her speech.
Beyonce, HAS CLASS and a FINE A... but I digress.
You see, its not about RACE! Its about uhmmmm..SCRUPLES! Common Sense, Up-Bring'n, MANNERS, and DECENCY. Some hide behind the word "RACISM" when they really are guilty of NOT HAVING ANY OF THE ABOVE! And they know it! That's why they are so angry when they SCREAM RACISM when they know damn well its the other things that are out of their grasps that they cannot achieve! Making them a pitiful excuse for a human being!

Hate Speech
For some time now I have heard the anger and aggression of maniacle people lashing out (for no apparent reason) against certain sectors of society. It's not hard to find these attacks. In fact the media resonates with their unended transmission. If the recipients were all of one gender, race, or sexual orientation the media would carve the perpetrators for proverbial dinner. However, they aren't all in one particaular gender, race, sexual orientation. They are, however, linked.
Not long ago some tea party caught a great deal of attention. We all know that they were peacable demonstrations, addressing taxes and other matters that citizens did not appreciate about the government. It was constitutional, it was mild compared to many demonstrations in recent history, and it was attacked vehemently by news agencies in The U.S. In one spectacular display of overt bias a CNN reporter engaged in an argument with a demonstrator over his political beliefs. She said that the goings on around her were not "family viewing", while MSNBC threw around sexual innuendo that would have broken up any family meeting. It's clear that they didn't just disagree, they attacked and called the people and the Constitution based act that they carried out any number of insults. This, by definition, is hate speech.
Let's try another shall we?
Jamie Foxx! What an exciting name in the comedic industry, right? He is so talented that he would never stoop to the level of attacking a child and using vulgar references in doing so. Well.... In a radio broadcast Jamie Foxx (and others on the show) made fun of her appearance, suggested she get on heroin, make a "porno" and get a venereal disease. This was poured out on a 17 year old girl. She has been a popular target by others as well. She is often criticized for her christian ideas, both in television and internet outlets. This would make her a target of hate speech.
How about Sarah Palins daughter?
We, by now, have all heard it. Bristol had a child at a young age. She wasn't married. Well, conservatives, such as Sarah is, do not believe in premarital sex. They don't like promiscuity. The thing is, Bristol isn't Sarah, Sarah isn't Bristol. This seems to be a tough concept for some. It was questioned whether or not the baby was Sarahs. It was made a joke by the same people that say women can do with their bodies what they want, and that it is neither anyone elses business nor is it respectful to attack them on their choices. This passed right over another comedian. David letterman couldn't leave his mind out of this particular gutter, making references to "Sarahs daughter" being "knocked up" by Alex Rodriguez. He wasn't finished either. He tied the democrat Eliot Spitzer to "Sarahs daughter", obviously Bristol.
I could go on with Elizabeth Hasselbeck,Carrie Prejean,Tom Selleck, etc.
The common bond here is that these people dared to say ANYTHNG remotely conservative, and they paid the price at the hands of the left and its devices. CNN,MSNBC,Letterman,Foxx, all very liberal, all very quick to pounce on the slightest conservative trait.
Of course if these people had been african American there would have been an outcry of "Imus" perportions. Because the social group, or classification was political (still well within the "hate speech" guidelines, there is no outcry. The mainstream press takes it to the minor mention status. The Probama media outlets on the net laugh and minimize its relavance. I must ask, though, isn't some of this far more filthy and demeaning than "nappy headed hoes"?
I guess if your only standard is "agree, or agree to be slandered", you won't see beyond your politics. If not, perhaps we can leave the kids out of this, and leave a little dignity in it.

He actually threatened to launch a missile towards Hawaii and stated that if WE tried to knock it down that it would be considered an act of WAR.

Congressman Nathan Deal is proposing changing the law that grants newborns automatic citizenship if born in the U.S. He says if that child's mother is an illegal immigrant, that automatic status shouldn't be granted. What do you think?

Car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. Channon Christian was then beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breasts and put chemicals in her mouth, and then murdered her.
The District Attorney General, Randy Nichols of Knox County, Tennessee announced the list of charges facing the five suspects in the double murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom. Nichols is not saying whether or not he will seek the death penalty, but he does say the State will seek conviction for all charges filed in a 24-page indictment from the Knox County Grand Jury.
Lemaricus Davidson, 25, faces a total of 46 charges.
Letalvis Cobbins, 24, faces a total of 46 charges.
George Thomas, 24, faces a total of 46 charges.
Vanessa Coleman, 18, faces 40 Tennessee state charges.
Eric Boyd, 24, also arrested in connection with the fatal carjacking, only faces federal charges as an accessory after the fact.

But if two white people are tortured, raped, mutilated and murdered by a group of black people, it barely gets a blip in the news.Felony Murder in Tennessee carries a possibility of death, life without the possibility of parole and life with parole. Therefore, logic demands that you wish the opposite to please you.

Clearing Up a Miss Understandi
Hello, to all of those Loyal friends as well as enemies out there in cyber world. Right now, I'm getting the vibe that many of you think I hate WHITE PEOPLE. Well i'm here to tell ya, that couldn't be further from the truth than a man is in the Moon. Nope clearly not the case. I'm going to attempt to clear the air right here and now so that we may go foward with a better understanding of who I strive to be. 1st let me say that i am a staunch believer in the idea of individualism. I take each individual as they come white, black, asian and what ever else there is. I am a life long seeker or knowledge therfore I am a student forever. In all of my assumptions or ideas about life I try to base them on rational reasoning. I take the scientific approach to society although I put my faith in God. My Mom runs the Library in the small town that I'm from. I would say where but no telling some of my enemies may put a hit out. She has held this job all of my Life, so therefore I grew up in the Library. Not by any means saying that I know a little bit, just saying I'm not affraid of a Book. Even as a Child I was a horrible speller, It's something I've had to deal with. Kind of like dsylexia or any other disease that affects a person. A quick hint into my poor spelling also is the fact that I talk different. Not different in the since of slang Black and white put in the since of even my own people are amazed and at awe of how I speak. I form sentences different. i talk faster than most and I'm comfortable with it. I watched a documentary on speech in my African Americans studies class a long time ago. The documentary was on the subject of Ebonics. The Dr. was from some where in Africa. A very dark man by complexion and he spoke 16 different languages fluently. From scandanavian to dialects of Ebo. An he explained that just because we say things different doesn't mean one is lacking and the other is superior. He explained that ebonics or the necessity of ebonics is a farce. Language is based on communication and more important than spelling is sound in other words phonics. Although our people were raped of there land and forced to learn a new tongue. The sounds that we make were retained because we mainly converse with in our on social circles. If you travel this country you will notice that the English language which is one, sounds different depending on which region your end. People in the north say were country and we say they talk proper but they sound nothing like the British. Saying all of that to say. The true essence of language is communication( getting the point across). if i communicate my thought to you and you understand then the job is done. Well some of you may think this is inexceptable in your so called Corporate America. An I say I am self employed and that is the true essence of corporate America. i don't look for work. I produce work. Raping my typing impedament up. If you don't like how it's typed. DON"T READ IT. Moving along, by my mother running the local library i was cast into the spot light of socializing at a very young age. I dare say up until about the fifth grade my best friends were always white. I've done boy scout, soccer and 4-h and a slew of other things that are considered out side of the scope of where you would have me. Throughout school. i've always attracted your daughters and not the ones that have a kindred spirit but good ivy league girls. Let me stop before you say I'm boasting. As a young man, I've spent two vacations a summer in Panama city and one or two in Destin. Throughout my high school career I was the guy known by everybody but on personal levels, never the most popular publically. My mom job never fared much So i've worked as long as I can remember. I've had negative run ins with black people as well as white. I remember at one point in high school feeling ostrasized by the whole caucasin commmunity behind a simple misunderstanding that had nothing to do with me. I consider myself to be some what of a history Buff. I've learned American histroy from start to present as well as AFRICAN American history which is sometimes glanced over in general study. I think that the Nation of Islam movement fared way more toward our eqaul rights than the nonviolent movement did. I see Malcolm X and Dr. King as of the same spirit although one is shrewedly wrote out of his significance on his impact on our society. i don't think I know it all. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to know it all. I feel that many ills of our society still exist, they just conceal it now. Out right deny it. An at times I get vocal about it. My opinions are not to insight anyone or guilt anyone. i speak what I think because it refines who I am. I like White people for the most part and I really Like Fine Women with the right Tan. I can careless of your opinions because it ain't helping my G~power out. I come on here much like you. Just to see what the latest grype is about. I am a Fan of Michael Jackson. An I believe i could teach you all somethings if you would just listen and be rational and honest. An thats all I want to say about me Right nOw.

What more do we really want from Michael Vick?
He's been convicted, served his time and has huge amounts of fines and other debts to pay.
What else do you want from him?
Because no matter what is done to Michael Vick, dogfighting still continues. And there are other people, who are a lot worst than Vick, who has done a whole lot of wrong concerning dogs.
My point is, is Michael Vick to blame for his celebrity status or is it really his personal status that makes people dislike him?
I'm just saying. Let the man be. Give him another chance to play ball and put this thing behind him. Agree or disagree.

The NAACP and its allies in the movement did such a good job of blowing up racist legal barricades that stood in the way of first-class black citizenship. Barack Obama would not have gotten into the White House without the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965.The fight ain't over yet. Just because America now has a Black President, the demand for racial justice has not disappeared, even if some whites holler that the debt's been paid. Many feel and think the playing field has been legally leveled, and racism, thus, is narrowly defined as an individual personality problem rather than a broad, structural concern. How wrong they are!The rogues like Don Imus who call African American Women "Nappy Headed Whores on National radio, the Mark Furmans who lie in court until his "Nigger Tape" is played, which helps free OJ Simpson, a Black man! Furman and Imus are still credible within White society. Sean Hannity, another Obama Racist, uplifted Imus for his Racial Black remarks! As if these young college ladies were out on the streets selling their bodies!
